In year applications for all GFM schools are processed from our central office.

Year 3 in September 2024
Appeals for transfer to Gomer Junior or Rowner Junior Schools – Year 3
Notification date for on-time applicants: Tuesday 16th April 2024
Deadline date for parents wishing to lodge an appeal (returning completed appeal papers to the school): Tuesday 21st May 2024
Year 3 appeal hearings to be held: w/c 24th June 2024
Decision letters to be sent: Within 5 school days of hearing
Year 7 in September 2024
Appeals for transfer to Bay House or Brune Park Schools – Year 7
Notification date for on-time applicants: Friday 1st March 2024
Deadline date for parents wishing to lodge an appeal (returning completed appeal papers to the school): Thursday 28th March 2024
Year 7 appeal hearings to be held: From 13th – 24th May 2024
Decision letters to be sent: Within 5 school days of hearing
Please note:
(i) Appeals lodged after the deadline date will be heard on the above date if possible, or within 40 calendar days (excluding school holidays) of the appeal being lodged. Appeals lodged after the beginning of June will not be heard until the Autumn Term 2024
(ii) Following the lodging of an appeal, additional (evidence) papers may be submitted to GFM Admissions Office – deadline dates for this will be advised during the appeal process. Evidence submitted after the date advised may not be considered in your case.
